I had a great time at One18 Boutique Hotel overall, with a fantastic location near Petaling Street. However, the lack of direct engagement from staff and the absence of housekeeping made the stay a bit less pleasant. The design of the hotel felt a bit industrial, and there was no window in my room, which I wasn't too fond of. Still, it was clean and modern, making it decent for budget travelers like me.

Rooms
8.0
The Superior King Room was clean and modern, but I missed having natural light since there was no window. It felt more suited for shorter stays.
Service
6.0
I found the self-check-in process a bit impersonal, and I encountered a long wait during check-in. It left a not-so-great impression.

Superb location! Close to Petaling Street and tons of food options nearby. Major attractions like Merdeka Square are just a short walk away.

The common area had a microwave and utensils, which was handy. Lots of food spots around for a delicious local experience.

The hotel was missing some usual amenities like housekeeping, which was disappointing. It did have a few useful common area features.

I had a somewhat mixed experience at One18 Boutique Hotel. The location is fantastic, right near the food street, and my room was modern and clean. However, I faced issues with the check-in process, which was frustrating, and the unmonitored lounge area became quite noisy late at night. Overall, while the hotel has potential, my stay was marred by some significant inconveniences.

My Deluxe Queen Room was sleek and clean, which I appreciated, but a noisy atmosphere at night kept me from sleeping well.
Service

Staff seemed disengaged during my stay, and I had issues with check-in that took way too long due to a malfunctioning kiosk.
Location

The hotel's location is a big plus, being just a stone's throw from the vibrant food street, which was very convenient.
Dining

While I didn't use dining services extensively, there was a small common area with supplies like a microwave, which was useful.

The lack of a traditional reception area felt odd, and I could’ve used more oversight in the common areas to mitigate noise.

I had a mixed experience at One18 Boutique Hotel. The location is prime, right on a bustling food street, but I faced some real issues during my stay. Check-in took forever due to a malfunctioning kiosk, and the noise from the lounge area really disrupted my sleep.

Rooms

The room was clean and new, but a bit small for two people and lacked storage. I missed having a window for better natural light.
Service

Service was mostly self-sufficient with a kiosk check-in and no real staff engagement. I felt the lack of housekeeping during my stay, which was disappointing.

Facilities were basic, with no true common areas beyond a small kitchen setup. A lift would have been nice for lugging bags around.

My stay at One18 Boutique Hotel was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Chinatown, and I loved the new interior design. However, the room's lack of windows was challenging, leading to minimal natural light and noise issues from the street. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the cleanliness and modern shower facilities during my stay. 🌆

Rooms

The King Room with Spa Bath was beautifully designed but lacked daylight and had noise issues from outside. The bed was comfortable but a bit short for taller people like me.
Service

Self check-in was straightforward, but I missed having staff on-site for assistance during my stay.
Location

The location was excellent - right in the middle of Chinatown, making it easy to explore the market and local amenities.
Dining

I didn't dine at the hotel, but the vibrant street food scene in Chinatown offered countless delicious options nearby.
Facilities

Facilities included room service and housekeeping, but I found the bathroom setup, with the toilet in the shower area, could have been better designed.

I stayed at One18 Boutique Hotel for five nights, and while it had some great aspects, there were also notable drawbacks. The location was excellent with plenty of food options nearby, and the room itself was clean and modern. However, the size felt cramped for two, with limited storage and no windows, making it feel quite bleak at times. Additionally, I had some issues with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which could be quite frustrating.
